Mid Wales Golf Professional aiming for continued success

Andrew Humphreys, Head Professional at Aberdovey Golf Club has been short listed for the prestigious TGI Golf Pro Shop of the Year award, after an incredible couple of years in his post as Head Professional.
The award recognises growth and development within the industry along with manufacturers’ feedback and reviews within the game.

Having invested heavily in the redevelopment of the shop, including adding a state of the art swing room/fitting studio and bringing in some of the world’s leading brands, Andrew is rightly proud of what he and his team have achieved, including a Taylor Made golf business award for brand growth and service.

Having taken over the running of the professional shop in 2020 just before COVID hit the UK. Andrew explains, “It’s been a very strange time to take over as Head Professional with the industry seeing extreme highs and lows. My team have worked tremendously hard over the last two years and to see their joy in being nominated for this award means a lot.”
